Fort Campbell Schools
The Fort Campbell School System serves military families living on the post and is organized under the Domestic Dependent Elementary and Secondary Schools (DDESS) system.Fort Campbell and Fort Knox make up the Kentucky District, one of six DDESS districts covering 65 schools at 17 military installations.
The Fort Campbell system includes eight schools: five elementary schools, two middle schools and one high school. About 375 certified teachers and educators deliver instruction to more than 4,600 children living on post.
The U.S. Department of Education has awarded seven Blue Ribbon School of Excellence Awards to Fort Campbell Community Schools.
Martha Brown is the Fort Campbell community superintendent, and Frank Calvano is the DDESS Kentucky District superintendent. His office is at Fort Knox.
The Central Office is at 77 Texas Ave. just inside Gate 4 and is open during the school year from 7 a.m.-4 p.m.
