Golf in Clarksville, Tennessee and Fort Campbell

Golfing, Clarksville, TN.
Don't blink, because if you do, you may miss one of the four major golf tournaments that Clarksville hosts every summer. With the City Amateur, Commanding General's Tournament, Mayor's Classic and the Wendy's Spring Open, golf in this city is well established, and the golf courses that frequently hold these tournaments continue to grow. Most of the city's PGA professionals still reside at their respective courses, and each course offers competitive rates for the public to enjoy.

Mason Rudolph

Mason Rudolph Jeff Vaughn holds the distinction of being the only golf pro in the area to hold down two golf courses. He's not only the pro at Mason Rudolph Golf Course but also at Swan Lake. Mason Rudolph offers inexpensive rates for nine- and 18-hole play. During the week, nine-hole play is only $4 for military and seniors, students and children age 6 to high school age. Regular rates are $7.50, with a $4.50 cart fee.
Eighteen-hole play is $8 for military, seniors and high school students and regular rates are $15 with a $9 cart fee. Mason Rudolph is at 1514 Golf Club Lane. For more information, call 645-7479.

Swan Lake

From Monday through Friday, nine-hole green fees at Swan Lake are $9 or $14.50 with a cart.
A Twilight Special is included with 18-hole players. That rate is $16 (or $27 with a cart) before 2 p.m. After 2 p.m. the rates change to $13 (or $24 with cart).
During the weekend, the green fees are $11 (or $16.50 with cart) for nine holes and $22 (or $33 with a cart) for 18 holes.
The military, seniors and city employees can play for $5 during the week and $10.50 during weekend, nine- hole play. Eighteen-hole play will be $9 during the week and $20 on the weekend for that group.
Swan Lake is at 581 Dunbar Cave Road. For more information, call 648-0479.

Eastland Green

Golf pro Paul Powers left his coaching position at Clarksville High School last April to dedicate himself to running Eastland Green again. Although the military receives discount rates, regular 18-hole rates at Eastland are $18 during the week with a $10 cart fee and $25 during the weekend (with the same cart fee). Twilight starts at 2 p.m. and is $24 with a cart during the week and $30 during the weekend.
Nine-hole play is $11 during the week with a $5 cart fee and $13.50 during the weekend with the same cart fee. Eastland also offers a nine-hole course with a $10 green fee during the week with a $4 cart fee.
